As some of you may know, I'm in the intense !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and, while doing this, convert it to a 5-speed Kügelfischer tii and add some other goodies.

My other project, a Fiat Dino 2400 Bertone Coupe, hasn't been touched for a while, which is a shame. But keeping that car on the road is a real time-consuming challenge: Every time you take it for a spin something WILL break. Really.

Luckily my friend and fellow-Dino Coupé owner Leo Dijkstra is more successful in keeping his small collection running, he just updated his Dino engine (the picture above is his green Dino) by adjusting the contactbreakers and cleaning/overhauling the carbs. And while he was busy doing the latter, he had the air filter removed. And then, the glorious Dino V6 sounds like this, clearly one of the best sounding engines ever (Yes: this will run about 8000 RPM, seriously!): !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !

So. Fucking. Jealous.

A Fiat Dino is firmly in my dream garage. Gorgeous, gorgeous cars.

They really are, I personally find the spider too feminine, way too much round bumps. With that silver one above the chrome surrounding of the grille doesn't stand out, better opt for a darker one like:

But I'm really glad my fellow-Dinist send me that video, I should really get going with the 02 and start working again at the Dino. It just sounds so amazing.

Ok, that's definitely the combo to have.

I agree with you on the Spider. I've never really warmed to it. The coupe is definitely better looking.

Also, I need that sound in my life.

My own Dino is currently dark grey, but that's not it's original colour (picture on the left is taken at the company I bought it from years ago). I'm not even sure it was an original Fiat colour.

When it left the factory it was blue, I'm not sure if I want to restore it to it's original colour after all my issues with the paintshop when doing my 2002. Although I really love that kind of blue:

Painting the inner parts of the rims dark grey like with this blue one is high on my wish-list as well.
